Moby was my dream dog. When I met him at the shelter, I knew he was the one. After a few months it seems that this isn't the right house for him. He has broken into our coop and killed several of our chickens, which are our livelihood. Despite all the progress he's made during our training, He's still too much of a liability to keep around. Moby is really a sweet boy, he just has a strong prey drive and a distinct lack of impulse control. He's very gentle and friendly with people, kids, and other dogs. He had a habit of chasing cats initially, but he's been very good at resisting the urge recently. He's a smart dog and needs stimulation or he'll get bored and find trouble. He loves to play chase and tug with a toy. He is also very quiet, and doesn't bark, whine, or howl, unless he really has something to say. His kennel manners are very good, and he'll even put himself away if you offer him food. As for training, moby is very food motivated, and listens pretty well if you have a treat in your hand. Despite his tacit nature, he communicates well with body language and using his paws to tell you what he wants. I really want to find a good home for my boy.
