About Cooper

Cooper is an amazing Catahoula who was rescued from the local kill shelter. He is a good boy who is fully potty trained and sleeps well at night in or out of a crate. He is amazing with kids and enjoys being loved on and given lots of attention. Cooper is up to date on shots and has no known medical issues. Cooper and his current companion do not get along! Cooper needs a new placement as soon as possible to avoid taking him back to the pound. Cooper is toy aggressive and likes to assert dominance with other dogs in a house setting. He would do best in a setting that has no other dogs or in a setting with someone who is willing to work with him. He would make a great working dog or a great outside dog to protect other animals or farms after he receives training. He would also do best with lots of outdoor space to dig and play and run. He needs an outdoor space to let his energy out but is also calm and lovable indoors!! Cooper is an amazing dog that will make a house a home with a little patience and love and a home with no other pets!
