About Laverne

Laverne's mom came in with a badly mangled leg which had to be amputated and then we found out that she was pregnant. Laverne is 6 weeks old and will be ready for her forever home on 12-31-24. Her mom weighs 20 lbs and we know nothing about the Dad. Mom is a Chihuahua mix. Laverne is slow to warm up, but a sweetheart once she does. She can be easily frightened and for that reason we are looking for a quiet, slower paced home. She currently weighs 6.9 pounds. Please keep in mind that we try to match your application and lifestyle with a dog the best suits your home. We are the dogs advocate and we put their needs first in hopes that we are finding them a forever home. For this reason we don't operate on first come first serve.
