Crate trained, BUT DOES NOT NEED, JUST PUT ALL FOOD AWAY AND BLOCK OFF ALL ACCESS TO FOOD. No known medical issues, BUT DID HURT HER BACK JUMPING THE FENCE. VET SAID NOTHING MAJOR, BUT PRESCRIBED PAIN MED IF SHE ACTS SORE. STILL JUMPS THE FENCE . HIGH ENERGY. HIGH PREY DRIVE. Currently on DIAMOND NATURALS LAMB food. Weighs 70 lbs. Good with car rides. Loves: Maggie Mae loves car rides, hiking in woods, going on all kinds of Adventures and being active, swimming and playing in lakes, playing in water, baths and showers but needs her rubber mat that will come with her, Food puzzles, playing ball, lick mat, playing Tug, playing games and training, destroying stuffies, playing with other dogs that she knows, chilling on the couch, belly rubs, getting her ears cleaned, getting her paws rubbed, playing fetch, cuddling in bed. She loves going on walks but she was jumped by stray large breed dogs so now she may be a little hesitant on walks. Maggie Mae is an amazing and intelligent girl. She may have a possible Abuse History, she was rescued from an addict that got her from an Amish puppy mill. Previous Shepherd Parent has had her since she was 4 months old. She is extremely intelligent and knows several commands. She is an independent thinker and problem solver. She has great Recall. She understands lots of conversations her current Shepherd Parent has with her, including if she needs her medicine, she will go to the kitchen and wait for her medicine. Maggie Mae needs a very active and outdoorsy person to hike and go on adventures in woods, go to lakes and swimming, etc. Maggie Mae is very active and needs an active lifestyle. The Previous Shepherd Parent needed to re home her because her job changed and she no longer had time for Maggie Mae. Maggie Mae was bored, unhappy and was not thriving. She was constantly jumping the fence to get loose and roaming the town. Previous Shepherd Parent then put her on a lead and she still jumped the fence and nearly hung herself when she jumped the fence. She needed to find her forever person ASAP to keep her safe from getting seriously hurt or run over and to give her the active lifestyle that she so desperately needs so that she can thrive. Maggie Mae will make an AMAZING companion for someone that has an ACTIVE lifestyle and has the time that she needs. UPDATE: WAS REHOMED BUT MAGGIE KEEPS PINNING DOWN THEIR OTHER DOG SO MAGGIE NEEDS TO BE RE HOMED AGAIN TO SOMEONE WITH NO OTHER PETS.
