About SAM

Puppy Available!!! Born: 5/1/2024 Rocky is a very sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix in need of a forever home! He is a fantastic pup, 40lbs (still growing) and will probably grow to be 45-50lbs at full size. Rocky is very food motivated and has been picking up on his training quickly! He is housebroken and has learned to ring a bell by the door when he needs to go out. He is also crate trained and knows 'sit' and 'down', but would still benefit from some basic obedience training. He has a lot of puppy energy, does fairly well with children but can get a bit nippy when overexcited. He would thrive most with a lot of space to run or a very active household. Although he is always in play mode, he has an off switch and loves to snuggle with his person before bedtime. He has a high prey drive and likes to chase cats, might do best in a cat free home or with a dog-savvy cat. He is happiest in the company of other dogs and when he's with his person. He is a Velcro dog and will want to follow you around the house and be your adventure buddy always! He has the biggest ears and an even bigger heart.
