About Rocky

Rocky is a very sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix in need of a forever home! He is a fantastic pup, 40lbs (still growing) and is very food-motivated. Rocky has been picking up on his training quickly, he is mostly house broken and crate trained and knows 'sit' and 'down', but will still require basic obedience training. He loves to eat everything so he does require a puppy-proof area/crate to stay in while his owner is away from the house, but as time goes on he is improving! He has a ton of puppy energy, does fairly well with children but can get a bit nippy when overexcited, very normal herding dog behavior. He would thrive most with a lot of space to run or a very active household. Although he is always in play mode, he loves to snuggle on the couch and wind down before bed. He has a high prey drive and likes to chase cats, might do best in a cat free home or with a dog-savvy cat. He loves the company of other dogs and is happiest when he's with his person. He is a Velcro dog and will want to follow you around the house and be your adventure buddy always. He has the biggest ears and an even bigger heart. Rocky has a ton of potential and with the correct guidance will be an excellent addition to any family! Currently fostered in Englewood, FL.
