About MIA

Mia, the sweetest senior you could meet! Mia is between 6-7 years old and is a Boxer/lab mix. She has been given a clean bill of health by the vet! Mia is slow to warm up to people but once you have her trust she is a heart dog and fantastic companion. She is one of the few dogs to love the vet. Tale wags and kisses all the way. She enjoys slow tempo walks and checking for squirrels along the way. She walks at heel with little direction and is completely house trained. Mia is great with grooming including the nail grinder and baths. She just needs a little peanut butter snack with bathtime to help encourage her. Mia loves a good bone but is still learning what toys are. She is happy to receive pets and snuggles throughout the day. She loves music and keeping an eye on the Amazon man/woman. Mia can sit and take nice and is in the process of learning other basic commands. Mia would fit best in a home without small children and young teenagers. She can share space with kids but doesn't appreciate their touch. With time and patience Mia has adjusted to life with her foster brother but needed training and guidance to know he was a friend to trust. She is trusted to be in a home alone while you are out and about and isn't a fan of small spaces. Mia is still learning what love is and would love a gentle hand to show her the way, as she has many healthy years left. Mia is spayed, up-to-date with vaccinations, flea and tick prevention given, heartworm, tested (negative) and micro chipped.
