About Ivy

People not spaying or neutering their dogs! Poor Ivy is only about 9-10 months old when she got pregnant and had 5 puppies. Babies having babies is so sad to see. Ivy is a real sweetheart and still has puppy play energy herself. She loves to go on walks and is an easy going girl who gets along with people and other dogs. We do not know what she thinks of cats. She was a good Mom, her babies are now weaned and everyone is ready to go to their own families. Ivy is done with all her Mommy duties and can now enjoy just being with her own family to take care of her. Ivy weighs about 45 pounds. Please help Ivy find the loving home she deserves. *Note: Ivy is scheduled to get spayed on 12/26 and will be available to be adopted on 12/27. We are currently accepting applications in hopes she will be able to go home to her forever family on 12/27! Update: Ivy had tested positive for Lyme's and has already completed her course of antibiotic. She is feeling great and ready to go! ***You must provide a vet reference for a current or past pet you have/had.*** We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
