Meet Ringo! Ringo is an 8-month-old Blue Heeler with striking rings around his eyes that inspired his name. He was purchased from a breeder and is American Kennel Club (AKC) certified. Ringo is a high-energy, intelligent pup who thrives when he has a job to do or plenty of activity to burn off his energy. A home with a large fenced yard or even a farm where he can put his natural herding instincts to use would be ideal. He's best suited for an active individual or family who can match his energy and provide him with lots of love, playtime, and mental stimulation. Some of Ringo's favorite things include toys, playing fetch, and chewing (so make sure he has appropriate chew toys to keep him entertained). He's also a cuddle bug who loves snuggling, giving kisses, and being a loyal protector. Ringo is house-trained, neutered, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations. While Ringo is great with kids, he does not get along with other dogs. He will need to be in a home where he can be the only pet and kept separate from other dogs. Although he has never bitten another dog, he does bark and lunge at them, so precautions like secure containment and mindful management are necessary.
