**REHOME IS NOT HER FAULT** Zuri is a sweet, sweet girl. She is not being rehomed due to behavior or health. I am moving to downtown Chicago and as much as I have tried taking her into the city to acclimate her the city is constant noises and smells overwhelm her, I can see in her face she can't focus, she gets very anxious, and it's just not a very hospitable place for her. I will give her pros and her cons because I wish for her to find a forever home. She is a great dog, and she deserves a family that she can spend her life with. PROs: Very obedient Very Smart House trained does great in the car front or back seat, does not scratch at doors or try to jump out windows however if someone approaches the vehicle she will bark at them. Loves kids currently living with a 10-year-old and a 13 year old loves cats the first three years in our house I had a cat and they were best friends she has also had kittens in the house and was a big Mama bear to them gets along well with other dogs both male and female, adult and puppy very loyal, very protective of women and children in the house not a picky eater great traveler she's been on 12 airplanes her longest trip was 8 hours with a layover she has very light protection training doesn't chew or scratch at anything in the house not a digger loves toys is a big player knows how to relax she is home alone out of the crate about 8 hours a day she can play when I get home or she's willing to just lay on the couch and veg out kennel trained loves the kennel sees it as a safe space not a punishment better off leash than on leash :) I know there's a ton more pros but I'm trying to keep this short and sweet so feel free to ask. Cons: likes to bark and chase squirrels and rabbits is not a dog park dog, she's very friendly but if a dog is aggressive with her I have found people will blame her first because of her breed and the way she looks. She is very mouthy- she is a dog I've never punished her for playing with her mouth- she has never bitten or hurt me or anyone else, but she will put your hand in her mouth she will grab at your ankles while playing while on a leash she does tend to pull a bit I have used the prong collar which work well I also choose to use a vibrating beeping collar she responds extremely well to the beep very rarely do I have to give her a vibrate unexperienced around farm animals however if they're large enough I wouldn't see a problem with them it would just be a learning curve I would rate her shed as light comparably two other shepherds I've owned
