About CHARLIE

** ARIZONA ONLY ** ** What a beautiful baby!!! Charlie is just 8-9 months old (as of December 2024) and is a sweet and playful as puppies come! He is good with other dogs, and also enjoys children who are at least 12 years old and of a respectful and kind nature. Charlie was born almost deaf -- we think he can hear a little bit (very little). Because of this, young children (or those who lack understanding and respect) have tendency to startle him.... he doesn't hear when you're coming, so a gentle and thoughtful approach is needed so he doesn't get scared when startled. Currently, Charlie is 50 pounds and we expect him to grow just a bit more. He really loves to run and play, so a yard is a must for him. We also think he'd love to have another dog in the home -- a playful and compatible dog to be his BFF. Charlie also enjoys playing fetch, though you'll need a few toys and balls because he doesn't always bring them right back :) Charlie has nice manners and is willing to learn more. He follows hand commands and will sit on command.... even better if there is a treat involved :) I met Charlie to take pictures and learn his personality; and truly, I fell in love with him in about 30 seconds. He is a sweet, sweet puppy with so much love and happiness. His personality is absolutely charming and he is as adorable as can be! Charlie tolerates a bath and nail trim very nicely, as well as brushing his beautiful coat. He doesn't even mind nail trims. He is genuinely a sweetheart. Charlie is neutered, current on vaccines, and microchipped. He'll go home with collar and ID tag, harness and leash, and a few other goodies like his favorite toys.
