About Moonie

Moonie is a wonderfully well-behaved Alaskan Malamute. We've had him since he was six months old and have worked hard to house train, command train, and leash train him to the best of our abilities. Moonie is fantastic with kids, adults, and people in general. At off-leash dog parks, he enjoys chasing other dogs and occasionally tries to hump, but he has never shown aggression or attacked another dog. He's a very easygoing dog to care for. He loves 30-minute morning walks, off-leash hikes in the mountains, and running through open fields. Moonie has been the perfect companion on camping trips and in everyday life, always ready to snuggle and bring joy. Unfortunately, we're looking to rehome him as we are relocating overseas for work and cannot afford to bring him with us. Moonie is in excellent health and has many good years ahead. We hope to find him a loving home with an active family or on a homestead or farm where he'll thrive.
