Jazzy is about 8 mo old, 55 pounds and growing. We expect him to be 60- 70 pounds at maturity. His mom appears to have some genetics of border Collie, perhaps Australian Shepherd. We're guessing dad provided some Rottweiler to his mix. He was found as a tiny pup with his tiny siblings and mom in a den she had created to give birth. Jazzy is neutered and up to date with his vaccinations. He is a dog who loves to belong, and always be part of a family. Jazzy is very attentive to his person and has good recall. He likes to cuddle up next to his person when/ where permitted. Jazzy would do well in a home with another well adjusted dog to show him the ropes. He's shy at first, and will take a little bit of time to adjust to his new situation and people and other pets. Once he is comfortable he is really sweet and affectionate. Since he is very physical and energetic he isn't likely a good match for young small children. He understands 'no', 'sit', 'stay', 'down', and 'Jazzy come'. He thrives on praise for doing the right thing. Jazzy can spend several hours in a crate. He is house trained. He has been developing leash skills but still pulls a bit. He does well on off-leash walks. Jazzy will be a great skiing, biking, hiking, or running buddy. He is located in Dolores, CO. His Fee is $150 and is available through Blackhat Humane Society.
