About Candy

Candy is as sweet as her name, also smart, spunky and a devoted companion. She enjoys meeting people. Ok with dogs but prefers her person. A chocolate/tan mostlydachshund mix, 11 years, 12 pounds, she has major doxie personality for sure. Candy came to a Louisiana shelter as a stray, quite thin with coat/skin issues; lost all of her teeth but 2 to dental disease. The 2 she has left are good. She's adorable with her tongue hanging out, eats very well. Candy tested HW positive, is being treated slowly because of her age. Her bloodwork results are good. The further treatment is simple and inexpensive. Candy is a delight and a wonderful best friend. She'd love to have a mama's to hang out with a lot. Candy knows it will take a very special person to open their heart to her, wants everyone to know it will be worth it. Fostered near Philadelphia, PA.
