About XANTHI

Please read carefully before applying. At Juno's Den, the priority is to find homes able, willing and committed to meet our dogs needs. If meeting any of their needs requires you to make sacrifices or modify your lifestyle, we strongly recommend you not to apply at this time. Please note one of our requirements is to periodically be in contact with us after the adoption and we do not offer meet and greets in most cases, since our pups are mainly rescued in Mexico and we currently don't have enough foster homes locally for all of them. Xanthi needs an active home, preferably with at least one adult working from home or a family with hybrid schedules. She would do best with women, but does well with men with slow introductions and patience. Please no kids, toddlers or babies. Xanthi can be selective and her herding instinct is real. She has made a lot of progress and requires patience and consistency. She loves hikes, swimming and also enjoys snuggling and quiet time with her people. We highly encourage potential adopters to consider keeping her on the diet she is currently on.
