Darling is a beautiful, healthy, young pup who was saved from a high kill shelter. She was picked up as a stray and then was completely terrified in the shelter and tried to be invisible. We saw her in the nick of time to save her life! We think Darling is approximately 9-11 months old and lab mix. She is about 35 lbs, so given her age, she won't be a very big girl! She's a petite little thing! Darling is very sweet, snuggly, quiet as a mouse, smart, and observant. She is not very high energy, has been low maintenance in our care, and very non-confrontational with other animals. She's well behaved in her foster home and working on being braver in the world and coming out of her shell because she is so shy. She is learning how to play with toys and what it truly means to 'dog'. She walks well on a leash and likes to walk to go potty outside and keep her area clean. Darling needs a fairly calm, patient, predictable environment where she can feel safe and loved and recover from her rocky start in life. Please give this total sweetheart a chance at her forever! Darling is in foster in Fort Collins, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs. * You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/darling You can apply for our wonderful dogs at https://www.milehighcanine.org/adopt/adoption-application/.
