Elf is an 8 month old, 9 lb. Maltese/Poodle mix. Little Elf had a rough start in life and has been making lots of progress since coming to the rescue. If you are patient and go slowly with him, he will reward you with lots of affection and love. This little guy is still timid when meeting new people, but he has blossomed in his foster home. His favorite things in life are hopping around his yard like a little rabbit, being brushed, and mealtime! He sometimes will see if he can sneak his foster siblings' food if he finishes his first! Elf really enjoys the company of the other dogs and cats in his foster home and has a blast playing with them. He is fairly low energy and is working on his leash skills, but sometimes the leash can be too scary. He is almost totally potty-trained and is proud to announce that he is crate-trained and can be left alone for short periods of time in his crate! Elf is sure to bring any family joy, and he can't wait for his forever family to come along and scoop him up! He has not been kid-tested yet, but because he is timid, he would do best in an adult-only home or with older, respectful kids. Apply to meet this sweet nugget today!
