Bear was in a home with young children with an incident that happened with a child (no one was there to see what happened) we believe the child was possibly teasing him with a turkey leg which ended up in a mild bite. The owner was going to shoot him so we stepped in to take him. He has NEVER shown any aggression at the rescue. Bear has a limp from a prior injury before he came to the rescue. He is a gentle boy, great with dogs and cats. He would make a great pet we prefer no small kids in the home. He also would be great to protect livestock but he moves in slow motion because of his limp. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.
