About Windy

Found weak, starving, covered in scars and scratches on 9/26/2024. Today-12/15/2024 she is adorable, healthy , friendly and energetic! 40 lbs now. Has all vaccinations including kennel cough, flea and heart-worm free, on monthly preventative she takes easily in a pill-pocket treat. Spayed and microchipped. We call her Windy-found the evening Hurricane Helene rolled through SC. Currently fostered in a home with cats-spending long hours in crate as she does not like cats. Crate- trained, loves riding in car and outings to pet-friendly stores and drive-through for a pup-cup. Sleeps quietly in her crate all night, as long as she is in the same room as us. Starting professional leash/obedience training 12/15/24 to work on habits of pulling on the leash and mouthing us when she is bored. She is friendly with other dogs, but has an energetic rambunctious playing style that likely will not be good for older, anxious or small dogs. Friendly with children in brief community outings on leash but has not been around children off leash in our presence. She wants to be with her people 24/7. So much love to give! Requires lots of chew toys and needs an opportunity to run everyday.
