Are you interested in a carefree, special needs kitten who doesn't know he has special needs? Lt. Dan is the kitten for you! He wants nothing but to be your faithful, loving friend for life. This orange marmalade boy is the greatest little guy. We can't sing his praises enough. Marmalade, orange kitties are known for bonding will with people very tightly and are very endearing. They adore people. He is no exception. He is the sweetest, most outgoing, snuggler, playful, social little guy you want to meet. We can't express how resilient and adorable this little guy is! He scoots around all over the house. He moves well and has never known anything different in his short life. He was found outside by a kind person and turned into an animal shelter. He sustained a back, hip nerve injury. No one knows the details. The shelter had several vets evaluate him. Lt. Dan is in excellent health. No surgery can repair his issue. He is not in any pain or discomfort. Lt Dan cannot use his one back legs, so he scoots on his butt and uses his front legs to navigate himself around. We have a video to share with anyone interested in our little fella. He does need a buddy, a social kitty to play with. We have several kitties around his age that he does well with if you would like to adopt Lt Dan and a buddy that he always knows. He loves every kitty he meets. He is a true joy to be with. He is litter box trained. We have a special litter box set up for him. He doesn't need diapers or any special help. His vaccines are current, no bad habits and micro-chipped, which is an added perk adopting from Snow Camp! His favorite toys like cat nip toys, springs or small balls. He has very fast paws to catch the feather on a pole, too. Lt Dan's purfect home would be with a kitty buddy to have company when you are busy or working. He is not a fussy kitty. He adores, adores rubbies. Getting up on a sturdy cat tower or a chair is not a problem for him at all. See the attached pictures of him. We list Lt. Dan as better without dogs or small kids so he will not be stepped on, or ran over during an active time in the household.
