#ShelterSpotlight #RescueMe Edition: Monty A723063 1 Year Old Male German Shepherd Labrador Retriever Monty arrived to the shelter on 6/20/24, as a young stray 9 month old male German Shepherd Labrador Retriever Mix pup. Monty was very nervous when he arrived and had trouble parting ways with the family that allegedly found him. Luckily, a little time with staff, volunteers, and some doggy friends quickly made Monty more comfortable being another homeless pet stuck in #DoggyJail. While everyone was hopeful Month was going to be adopted quickly, he has now spent more than 5 months at the shelter with a 6 Month ShelterVersary just around the corner %90 Monty contracted giardia during the start of October and had to deal with a little over a month with limited time out of his kennel until he was cleared, as a result he has become more restless and anxious at the shelter which has placed him at-risk. Now that Monty can come out of isolation and show off to the public again, he got a nice bath to help win over a new family. Monty is available for adoption or rescue and REALLY needs to find his way out of the shelter before it gets the best of him! HI!
