About Hughy

Hughy is a 3y mini Australian Shepherd. He can be very energetic outdoors but can also be very chill at home. He does have some separation anxiety but is able to relax after awhile. He is very intelligent and will let you know if he needs to go out to potty by whining and looking at you. He is also somewhat pad-trained. He does not do well with other male dogs but can warm up to female dogs. It takes time for him to warm up to cats in the home. A slow introduction between them and some separation is needed. He will do best around older kids as he can play a bit rough. Hughy will need some serious training on a leash. He does get overly excited when he sees other dogs and may growl at other dogs if they are too close. Hughy needs a new home with someone who is patient and willing to put time into training him.
