About Georgie

Georgie is a mini-Aussie, he weighs just around 40lbs. He is due for his next set of vaccines otherwise is us current. He is very aggressive towards strangers he does not know. Our house flooded and we were forced to move and he does not get along with the other animals or children in the house. He has had some training but very little as the trainer I was using had to relocate out of state. He is trained on a slip lead type of lease, I've found this works best to tame his aggression when he's acting out or trying to attack others. He does respond to treats as a reward. Once he gets to know you he's a wonderful dog but it takes time to earn his trust. He needs a fenced yard with room to run as he loves to run around outside and he will play fetch and bring the ball back to you every time. A home with no other pets and no children would be the best for him. I do not want to get rid of him but I cannot continue to keep him in the kennel all day while I'm at work because I believe it's cruel and unfair to him.
