About Persephone

Persephone is a 10-year female Poodle that weighs 13 lbs, she was found roaming the streets of Los Angeles. Persephone was taken to the shelter by someone walking by before she could be hit by a car and scanned for a microchip. When the Shelter staff contacted her owners, they told them that they did not want her anymore and to leave her at the shelter. Persephone was going to be euthanized for space, and we were contacted to take her before her time was up. We were happy to take her into our rescue group. Persephone is a sweet, gentle dog who loves to kiss and cuddle with you in bed and would be a great dog with children and a wonderful family dog. She also gets along with other dogs but does not do well with cats. Persephone enjoys taking walks and going to the dog park, she is leash and house trained.
