About Baby

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Kitten
Sex: Male

Baby and KoKo, loving brothers. We will only place Koko and Baby together. Baby is a light brown tiger kitty with black stripes and rings on his tail . He has short to medium soft fur, and striking snow white details. White frames his face with a full white chest and belly, white chin and mouth, and little bits of white travel up to his forehead. He has 4 white socks. Koko is a variegated tiger kitty with a wide black stripe along his spine. He has beautiful details like a white 'milk' spot on his nose, white neck and chest (like he is wearing a loose ascot and a tie which trails down)), four white socks, and a very fluffy tail. He is a fluffy kitty. His fur is longer than Baby's. They are beautiful, loving, playful kittens. They purr deep and loud. The loudest purring we have ever heard!! If you give them a home, they will follow you around, and seek your attention. They will snuggle up against you, hug you, and let you know you are loved. Baby will likely get close to your face to check on you, and snuggle up close at least once a day. Koko is more apt to come to you for attention and then snuggle up on your feet or by your legs. Only give them a serving of food at a time. They love to eat! They will even eat bread. Be sure to not leave it out. We do not have any small children. We currently only have inside cats so we can not tell you for sure about other animals. They are very curious about outside birds. I would watch them carefully around birds. I would be surprised if they weren't good with anything else. A few times every day Baby and Koko enjoy a romp up and down the stairs and around the house. Baby's favorite toys are little balls. He especially loves the balls that jingle. Koko loves stuffed toys and nerf darts. He plays with a stuffed fish every day, and loves small stuffed animals with legs. If allowed he would likely snuggle up with your stuffed animals. Koko also loves sticks. He loves to play with the sticks in our kindling bucket. We do not have a dog right now, but they get along with everyone who visits and the cats of different ages. They are also used to wheelchairs although sometimes I need to remind Koko to pull his tail out of the way. Baby and Koko were born sometime in June 2024. They were part of a litter of five. Late July, their mother was hit by a car and died. Our daughter was taking care of them outside their home until the kitten's health suddenly deteriated. Three of the five passed away shortly after becoming ill. The vets we saw determined that the kittens had encountered a neuro toxin. We do not know what they got into. We brought Baby and Koko home at that point. We gave them extra fluids, dandelion root decoction with honey, and Panacur to help them detoxify. As they were also low on body fat, at first we fed them only meat. Now we feed them dry food (Iams urinary track blend-other cats we have need it) in the morning and meat at night(chicken, tuna, ground beef, or turkey). We still give them extra fluid in the form of broth or goat milk a few times a week. They have been inside kittens since we brought them home. We have chosen not get them any shots as we did not want to stress their systems. They will use a regular or automatic litter box. We have used corn cob and pellet litter. They prefer the corn cob litter. They are used to having their ears cleaned and baths in a dishtub. Nail trimming is not their favorite thing. They use the scratching post we have. They are getting better at it, but they are still learning to have soft paws. I trained them with a squirt bottle to teach them 'no', 'down',etc. They also know : their names, 'come', 'go', 'food', 'eat', 'do you want to get wet', and 'Don't even think about it.' They have not been neutered yet. They are strong and happy. We need to find them a home. We really hope to place them, and not put them in a shelter.
