Chilli is an American Staffordshire Terrier about is 3-4 years old. We found her postpartum with her puppies nowhere to be found and with some bruising. Our vet thinks that she had been bred multiple times before she was dumped. So heartbreaking that Chilli was just used to give pups & then thrown away like trash!! She has been healing in our home in Los Angeles, California. We raised the funds to facilitate surgery to fix her pulmonic stenosis, spaying, and full vaccinations. She will live a long and healthy life and needs to take medication 2x/day for her heart. Her meds are $20 per refill & we refill probably every two months. Chilli is such an amazing dog! She loves to wrestle & play with other dogs, but takes time to warm up to people. She is sweet, loving & very active. She is very food motivated. She has had minimal exposure to children but has been okay. Unfortunately, we are unable to keep fostering her. She'll need a patient home because likely due to her history and like so many dogs, Chilli just takes time and compassion to build trust. We've done as much as we can and she has come such a long way and she so deserves a furever home!! We will transport wherever and continue to support her as much as we can / is appropriate.
