About Shafer

Shafer is a 1 to 2yr old neutered male German Shepherd. He weighs 63 lbs. Shafer was picked up by our local dog warden as a stray. Sadly his family never came for him. Shafer can be a little shy when you first meet him. Once he knows you are going to be kind to him he becomes a loving and loyal friend. He is a great dog who would love a home that will spend time with him. He has been well behaved here at the rescue and is learning several commands. He has a moderate energy level and a great temperament. He seems to be house trained. He has been great with children and other dogs. He was curious about my cat but ignored it after meeting it.
