About Emerson

FRIENDS, PLEASE SHARE THIS. �����%8F�����%8F�����%8F This is Emerson. He is looking for his forever family. Just hours before he was to be euthanized in a shelter in CA we saw a Reddit post from a rescue in CA begging for a foster. His behavior score at the shelter was perfect and his video broke my heart. We asked if they could get him to Oregon and a lot of amazing people made it happen. We loved him up, fattened him up and got him the care he needed. Now it's time for his new life to begin. Emerson is 900 pounds of love in a 90lb body. He's 2 years old. 52% German Shepard, 33% Great Pyrenees and a smattering of other cool, smart breeds. He is neutered but full of teenaged boy energy. He is extremely kid and dog friendly and would do great with medium or other large dogs. He is fully housebroken. He has absolutely no food or prey aggression. He barks very little. He is a bit of a bull in a china shop when excited because he doesn't know how big he is ���� The vet removed a small cyst from the top of his head and the hair has almost fully grown in but will look a little funky for another couple weeks. What he needs is a family with the patience to teach him the basics and keep him active. He loves walks, playing with toys and the dog park. His new home must have a well fenced yard. His new family must agree that he will live inside the home as part of the family and that if they are unable to keep him for any reason he will be returned to us. He is microchipped, fully vaccinated and on flea preventative. His adoption fee is 250, which will be donated to a local Eugene rescue.
