This sweet girl is ready for adoption! A beautiful, sleek, all black kitty! Churu, Raven and Dove were thrown from a fast-moving car in far east Texas into a field of tall grass, shrubbery and weeds on a day when it was over 100 degrees. A gentleman saw this and tried to find them. He found one, then a few days later, two, and about five days later that last one that was found. They were in poor condition. Thanks to many pet loving animal volunteers, a road trip with multiple people got the kittens to Houston where they stayed overnight with a former adopter. The next day one of our current fosters drove to Houston and brought them back. They have been nursed back to health. They are the sweetest, cuddliest, and most excited to see people kittens ever. If you live near San Antonio you may be able to foster/adopt until they are spayed. Otherwise they will be ready to go home in about 2 weeks. TO ADOPT: Fill out the application online at https://www.siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/adopt or email [email protected] and request a copy. More info at siameseorientalsnowshoerescue.org/FAQ Each cat will come to their new home with: neutered or spayed, age-appropriate vaccines, individually tested negative for FeLV/FIV, heartworm negative, and microchipped. DOGS & CATS: Unless otherwise noted, they are compatible with calm dogs who are cat-friendly. They are also compatible with cat-friendly cats with similar energy levels. If interested in a cat/kitten with a higher energy level than your current cat, adopting a bonded pair is recommended to avoid upsetting your cat. Slow introduction to new dogs and cats, according to the Jackson Galaxy method, is important to ensure they get along. FLUFFY KITTIES: Adopters must have experience grooming long hair cats or be willing to take a quick class on YouTube about grooming long hair cats. TRANSPORT DETAILS: Kittens younger than 16 weeks: adopters can fly to Austin or San Antonio airports for pickup. Texas: cats over 14 weeks can travel along 1-35 or within 4 hours of San Antonio with a rescue partner for a small donation. Out of state: for cats over 14 weeks old, transport is available to most of the Southern states, plus CT, NY, PA, ME, NJ and a few other states for $175 per crate. If they get along and space permits, up to 2 cats or 4 kittens can share a crate, and cost will be split amongst adopters. Out of state transport must have an Interstate Health Certificate by a qualified veterinarian for $85.
