Giselle is full of energy and thrives on playtime and outdoor walks. When she's not exploring, she loves to cuddle up and sleep on your lap or next to you. One of her sweet quirks is how she greets you when you come home-crying and jumping with pure joy. Giselle is fully house-trained and reliably goes potty outside, often returning on her own. Giving her time to explore your home and neighborhood would help her settle in. She may occasionally get distracted in new surroundings, so calling her back helps refocus her. In addition, she is territorial and makes a good watchdog. She will bark to alert you of doorbells and unfamiliar faces, ensuring your home feels safe and secure. Giselle's only behavioral 'concern' is related to her eating habits. She tends to eat everything at once if food is left out, so feeding her measured portions two to three times a day is best. An automatic feeder can be a great solution for this. Additionally, she might be tempted to eat food left on the table when unattended, so it's a good idea to put food away after meals or anytime you leave her alone. Aside from this minor habit, Giselle is an incredible dog with so much love to give! We are heartbroken to rehome Giselle due to personal circumstances that prevent us from providing the optimal home she deserves.
