About Blaze

Blaze is a lively and outgoing 3.5-year-old , 16/17lbs Shih Tzu with a big personality! He is up-to-date on vaccinations, Flea and Tick medication, microchipped, and follows a strict diet of Royal Canin Adult Shih Tzu dry food. Blaze is groomed every 8-10 weeks to prevent matting, as his thin undercoat requires regular care, including weekly brushing. Blaze is potty trained and uses whining cues to signal when he needs to go outside. Since I work from home, Blaze hasn't spent much time confined, though he may feel comfortable spending longer periods in his bed if needed. He is crate/kennel trained and prefers to sleep in his kennel. While Blaze enjoys walks, he can be a bit reactive since his outdoor time is limited due to living in an apartment. Ideally, he would thrive with adopters who have a home and a fenced backyard where he can enjoy more freedom and exercise.
