About Geordi

9 month Boxador seeking home Geordi is a kind, smart, and playful boy. He is potty trained, knows sit,stay, lie down, and is learning to walk on a leash. He is very food and praise motivated without an ounce of aggression in him. He loves babies, children, people, other dogs, and gets along with cats (although they find him annoying). He loves to play and also loves to sit at his human's feet and take a nap. If he was allowed on the couch, he would snuggle up during a movie. Shots are up to date, bloodwork and all labs are healthy, and he is scheduled to be neutered in January. He stays in his crate without destruction and does not have accidents overnight or while owner is at work. He is able to play in a fenced in yard unsupervised. Reason for needing a new home: Kuma came from a family of 5 and now lives with only one person and a cat. He struggles with anxiety when his human leaves the room (loud barking, clawing at the door if the person leaves the house) and when alone during the day. Geordi would be happier in a home with another dog, a couple, or especially a family as he does not show any of these behaviors when another person is in the home. He is still a puppy and has a hard time transitioning at times or generalizing his commands to new environments. He is a wonderful dog- good natured, smart, loyal, but a single person working fulltime is not an adequate owner for him.
