About Rijn

My mom passed away after a sudden illness a few days ago and I am trying to rehome this sweet boy. I live in Newcastle. He is 56 lbs, (lab mix, probably lab pit). He is a sweetie but high energy. I have him scheduled for boarded dog training January 2nd. He was living with me while she was initially sick but Due to his size and energy level my other 2 dogs tend to get run over and they don't always get along, though they love to play outside together. He is fixed, up to date on shots and heartworm negative. Likes ladies better than men but will warm up to strangers with time and treats. Does good with older kids. Loves to chase a ball and run in the yard. Does not walk well on a leash and not super comfortable in the car but this should improve with training. Would do best in a home with older or no kids, and either no dogs or dogs more his size (he is tall and skinny). It was my mom's wish that he not go to a shelter so we have contacted some rescues but not heard back yet. He comes with a crate, food, dog bed, toys and leash and 5 months of heartworm/flea/tick medication. If adopted before his boarded training I will still pay for the training to give him the best chance of success in his new life in honor of my mom. Please message me if you want to set up a visit.
