Darby and a handful of other dogs at Long Beach Animal Care Services got to meet Santa early enjoy some yummy snacks & tell St. Nick how good they've been this year, and everyone's #ChristmasWish was to find a caring #HomeForTheHolidays. While everyone wishes every dog would find a home, staff & volunteers would especially like to see Darby enjoy his 1st Christmas ever with a caring family. Darby didn't have the best start in life as a pup, his owner at the time didn't have any housing and was given a hotel room to stay in through outreach assistance. Unfortunately, even though Darby was allowed in the room his owner would leave him tethered outdoors... And at his young age things went from bad to worse when he got sick and was needed help. Darby is a very friendly young dog that enjoys spending time with people and other 4-legged dog friends. Everyone hopes Darby's wish to Santa comes true very soon! HI!
