About Eddy

Exceptional Eddy is a handsome German Shepherd with a beautiful bronzed coat. When you meet Eddy he will tell you about his journey of over 400 miles to safety, filled with many kind people. He was on 'the list' in a shelter that was running out of space and things had to move quickly so All Shepherd Rescue volunteers jumped in to help. He was quickly taken out of the shelter and moved to temp boarding in Greensboro, NC. Then a volunteer from the shelter brought him to a meeting point in Richmond, Virginia where he was greeted by two ASR volunteers who drove him the rest of the way to his new home with All Shepherd Rescue in Maryland. Now, Eddy is learning to relax around people and although initially he may be a bit shy with people, he is playful and friendly with dogs and cats. Eddy will thrive in a quieter home where his affectionate nature will blossom and he will be a devoted and loving companion.
