NOTE: Currently available for adoption only from foster care. If you are searching for a lap sitting, sweet, beautiful companion who wants nothing more in life than to be with her person, look no further than Minerva. She is perfect in almost every way but has a congenital condition which prevents her claws from extending or contracting. Although this does prevent her from scratching up your furniture, it can cause her some discomfort that is being managed with cosequin and fish oil added to her food which she readily eats. These are both non-prescription joint health supplements that are available on line or in pet stores. You may also need to help her down from higher furniture as the impact jumping down seems to hurt her. Pet stairs would help her up & down from your bed (which is where she likes to sleep at night). In her prior home Minerva was overwhelmed by the bustling activity of children, dogs & other cats. AAR placed her in a quiet foster home where she's done fantastic! She's been very affectionate, is eating well, uses the litter box like a champ & sleeps in bed with foster mom. She is a delight and playful in a quiet way. Minerva must have a quiet household where she can be the queen of her castle. She is a dignified and reserved lady who, once she trusts you, will honor you with quiet affection. She also is independent enough to be left alone for periods of time.
