Mini loves to be hugged and cuddled but only likes to give kisses on her terms. She is obsessed with balls, bones, the Kong and anything squeaky. She especially loves playing tug-o-war with toys with her sister Daisy. Loves to sit on a perch of any kind (back of couch or chair) to look outside and survey the land. She enjoys eating at a slower pace and can be rather submissive when eating to let other dogs eat out of her bowl. She loves cheese and will do anything for it. She also is extremely smart and learns very quickly - she was the first of the two sisters to allow us to put on the leash to walk, walks without pulling, learned sit and the doggie door within a few hours, figured out that doggie beds are awesome first, and is pretty self-sufficient when selecting and playing with toys. She has the most adorable underbite and will 'grin' often, especially if she wants more of something. She cocks her head to the side for any high-pitched sound and is very curious. The sisters often do things together but are not overly bonded and would possibly even do best separated though preferably to homes with other dogs for them to make friends with. Daisy gets pretty bossy with Mini at times. The girls have discovered how nice it is to have a dog bed and will either stay together or in separate beds. They especially love those beds that are the circular, fluffy kind or the sheepskin kind. They come from a big hoarder case so a soft bed is special to them. Mini is leash trained, doggie door trained, and potty trained. She will purposely pee several times in the yard just to get more treat rewards. Both girls are obsessed with the Kong and the spray treat that goes inside; not so keen on treats being put inside the Kong. They know the word 'sit', 'no', 'potty', 'outside', their names and we're working on 'stay', 'walk' and 'wait' (doing well, but learning). She has started the unfortunate habit of eating her sister's poop but I am trying to curb that. Night time is a challenge as they were reluctant to go into their crates even with treat enticement; the Kongs at night have eased that a bit and they are now sleeping pretty quickly after their Kong treat is done. They were originally whining and crying for anywhere up to 3 hours before they would sleep but we're down to about 10 minutes now. Daisy and Mini look like pug mixes. They are estimated to be about 1 year old. They have been spayed. Mini weighs 15 lbs.
