About Berus

We are looking to rehome our dog, Berus, due to recent changes in our circumstances. He's a Husky/ Akita mix and just turned 5 years old. After moving out of our family's home, our busy work schedules and limited space mean we can unfortunately no longer provide the care and attention he needs. He is energetic and friendly. He loves being around people, and gets very attached. He's kennel trained and neutered. Shots up to date. We're located in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area, but would love to find a home for him in a cooler climate. He's gotten to experience snow only once. We're willing to travel with him out of state for the right home. We'd also love to find him a new home with other huskies. He sheds lots, and we'd prefer for him to go to a home where the owners understand and can commit to having a husky. We want him to be able to get the attention he deserves. He is very playful and gets along well with many dogs, but his interactions depend on the other dog's temperament. He's jumpy and some dogs do not like that at all. It's been a tough decision for us to make, but we want what's best for him.
