About SAM

Wags Rescue welcomes Sam ! This gorgeous German Shorthair Pointer found himself locked up at the pound as a stray. No one came for him! That's unbelievable. However, we're delighted to have him here and give him the life he deserves without roaming the streets looking for warmth. He's cold natured and loves being inside in his blankets on cold days. Of course, he does love to romp the fenced in yard as well. He's playful and great with other dogs. He's a hugger so would do best with older children. He loves to be loved and cradled. We are working hard on the ' off commands' to prevent the jumping. Sam is no neutered, utd on vaccines and microchipped. He does need a fenced yard, but makes no attempt to leave the property. He's about 18 mos old and weighs 50 lbs. He's great on leash, but need further training to keep his paws off everything. He's a Gem! You can apply for this family pet at wags-rescue.org
