We adopted Millie about 10 months ago from Capital Humane Society. She is approximately 3 years old, but we don't know for sure, as she was a rescue. She had been rescued from a hoarding situation with approximately 8 other dogs in the home. We chose Millie because when we went to meet several dogs, she immediately just dropped into our laps and wanted to be held. Her only goal in life is to be loved and be near her humans. She has been great with our 3 year old daughter, but she just doesn't have good spacial awareness when it comes to her, and she is 70lbs of muscle. She frequently knocks her over, not intentionally, she just doesn't realize how big she is and our daughter is very easily put off balance. Again, this is no fault of hers, Millie just thinks of herself as a small lap dog. Millie would do great with kids that are just a little bit older/bigger than what our daughter is.
