This little puppy isn't named but she is loveable, sweet and playful. She is not suitable in a home with cats as she does show aggressive behavior towards them and the only dog she's been around is her sister. She is looking for her new, forever home due to her owner's failing health and is at risk for being euthanized because her her owner cannot afford to care for her now. This puppy is actually a bit bigger than her photo shows, but she's so energetic and runs around constantly that it's very difficult to get photos of her. She also like to stick her tongue out, it's super cute and we do have photos of it! She is an inside dog, she is mostly house trained but she is a puppy, so accidents are going to happen. She was NOT leashed trained or introduced to a collar, so a home with a fenced yard or lots of land to run in (nowhere near a road or in town) is best for her. As stated, she has a sister that she is attached to and they can be separated or adopted together. As all puppies, this one is playful and is teething so she might bite when playing, which is something you may want to consider before adopting a puppy. She will also need lots of attention and training because of her young age. She is listed as good with kids, BUT I would NOT place her in a home with kids younger than 14 due to her high energy and playfulness. She would also due best in a quiet environment with very calm adopters. If interested in adopting or meeting this puppy, please TEXT the number provided (slower response) or send an email to the email address provided. The adoption fee may be waived to the right home. References that are not friends and family are required. Please be aware that contact by email is preferred so you can fill out a form before meeting or adopting. This is done on all of these animals to ensure they are going to a proper home that can handle the lifelong commitment of owning these animals and the financial responsibility of them. They will not be going to just anyone, and as per Rescue Me's terms, they MUST BE spayed/neutered once adopted, as rescue animals are not permitted to breed. Once forms are filled out, an emailed letter from your references (not friends or family, vet reference required) must be sent. The form and the reference letters will be reviewed and your references may be contacted to ensure these animals are going to a safe and appropriate home.
