Name: Charlie Age: 12/27/17 Breed: Morkie, 15 pounds Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Coopersburg, PA Vet Info: Microchipped, neutered and HW-. Charlie has vitreal retinal degeneration that was congenital. Per owner, 'He lost sight in his left eye due to a retinal detachment sometime between 6ml-2yrs and it wasn't noticed until he was approx 3. Vision in his right eye has been steadily decreasing with immature cataract development and retinal degeneration which will lead to eventually total retinal detachment in remaining eye.' Charlie is 2-3 lbs overweight and has a chronic soft tissue injury on his front left limb that causes a limp sometimes when he's overactive or runs too much. Vet believes it may have been a torn rotator cuff at some point. Dog Info: Charlie is nervous and shy. He had some formal obedience training but practice was inconsistent. Charlie has shown recent and increasing aggression toward family members and another dog in the home. He is not reactive when pet, picked up or playing, just when he is startled. Charlie has bitten owners causing punctures on their hands. He does better with other dogs in other people's homes and shows less aggression towards people there as well.
