Meet Draco! He's a sweet, cuddly, goofy, and athletic boy who just wants to be loved and understood. We rescued him at four months old (he's 3 now) and we don't know much about his history before then except for that he was found malnourished, scared, neglected, and improperly socialized. He's always been a slow-to-warm-up pup with new people/places, but once he's comfortable, his happy, hyper, loving, and silly personality comes out. Draco is loyal, he has a high desire to please, and he's very food motivated, which makes training very easy. He's a good listener, but he requires consistency. He's housebroken, crate trained, knows basic commands and he really just wants to eat, sleep, play, and feel secure. Because of his past, he's very anxious and a bit hyper, so he needs frequent walks, exposure to the world, training to settle/practice patience, and physical/mental stimulation. He's really come such a long way, but he still needs owners who are willing to work with him. He's our boy, but he has remained unpredictable around other dogs, which is no longer working for our household. We feel he'd be much happier in a home with no other pets or small children. Happy to share much more about this goofy guy to interested adopters.
