He has been there almost a year hoping for a home. Vet Info: Liam was turned over to the vet's office because owner was unable to afford his insulin. Liam is being well taken care of. He has blindness due to diabetes. He is taking 13 units of insulin twice a day (he does well with the injections). He is current on his vaccinations, is HW- and otherwise healthy. Dog Info: Liam is a handsome Shepherd mix that is great on a leash and is housebroken. He is currently an indoor dog who is crated. He is shy but good with men, women and teenagers. He is used to the sound of barking dogs but should not be in a home with cats. Liam is not possessive with treats, toys or food. Liam has been living at the office for almost a year. He will bark at people and pets but he will do well if he is introduced slowly to people and dogs. He does still sometimes bump into things but he does adapt well to new surroundings. **Owner Surrender Disclaimer: These are blind and visually impaired dogs who are living in homes, but their owners can no longer keep them.
