About Sage

Sage is a sweet, playful little girl. She's a bit shy right now, but she's starting to open up. She loves playing with squeaky toys...and definitely likes her treats (which helps with training). She and her sibling, Petunia, were dumped when they were just a few weeks old. Thankfully, someone saw them and brought them to us. We estimate Sage to be about three months old, and she weighs 9.7 pounds as of mid-December. We have no idea on her breed since her Mom wasn't found with her, so we are guessing she and Petunia might be black mouth cur mixes. They will both finish up their initial vaccination schedule next week so, if adopted, they can come on our next transport. Sage is currently in Texas, but will be arriving to the NJ area December 21st and will be fostered locally.
