About LILY

Based in Gosford NSW, Lily's human mum is in hospital and sadly won't be going home. Lily is a shy sweet gorgeous 7 year old Lilac Point Rag-doll. She's been given a clean bill of health and is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, worm and flea treated and comes with a current wellness report that includes routine bloodwork and a dental check. Although originally purchased from a breeder, her papers are lost. I'm unsure how to get them, perhaps can answer that, but she is a pedigree Lilac Point Ragdoll. She's just been groomed with a ' lions cut' and this petite 3.5kg soft ball of fluff is ready for her next chapter in life. As she has lead a life as the sole companion of her female owner she has the challenges one might expect from the abrupt separation from her human and home. She's very gentle and loving, but incredibly shy. She not be suitable to be in a rowdy household with kids and as she's not been around other animals, it's unlikely she would be ok. Perhaps an experienced cat owner could transition her to be around another cat? Ideally she would make a loving and loyal companion to that one special person. In terms of difficulty, Lily ships as low maintenance and your patience and gentleness will unlock Lily's confidence in no time. Letting her set the pace, the first game we played was hide and seek and who knew, I certainly didn't, that she was either a tactical and strategic genius or she has been possessed by a shapeshifter. Because flattening to slide under 5mm gaps and holding your breath to avoid detection is her super-skill. As a 100% an indoor cat, despite what she tells you, Houdinis prot��%BD��%BDg��%BD��%BD would disappear in a microsecond if accidentally let outside,so she ideally needs someone who can keep her safe and sound indoors. She's had 12 weeks to adjust to her new life and with continued patience & care the rewards will far outweigh any work as she will initially be very shy, timid and afraid. If you let Lily set the pace and are willing to surrender your heart, you will not be disappointed. She loves nothing better than to curl up on a lap and purr with contentment.
