About Poppy

Poppy is a super chill dog that loves to lay in the sun or on the couch with you. She loves going on walks and is trained to do her business outside. According to the vet they think she is a Carin Terrier mix and with that breed they love to chase small animals. She goes 'lizard hunting' in the warm months but has yet to catch one. However this does make her have poor recall. She is a on-leash type dog. Unfortunately, poppy was bit by another dog a couple years ago and since then has become very anxious around people and dogs. She's very choosy about who she decides to like. There are some dogs in the neighborhood that she has come to love(most bigger dogs). However, with her anxiety, that does not make her good with children. Please, no children. She does not like the sudden movements they make. Overall, she is a loving and sweet dog. Hopeful that there is another home for her to be loved in.
