Hello there. I am currently looking to rehome Luna. She was rescued from a field where she was abandoned. I took her in and fed her, vaccinated her for rabies and other vaccines necessary, she has been trained to sit and give her paw as well as working with her currently on commands and leash walking. She is a beautiful lovely dog who loves to cuddle and snuggle. She is friendly with most dogs and is very social with other people. I have done my best since I took her in to give her what she needs but unfortunately my job and current living situation makes it difficult for me to provide her with a forever home. I currently have no permanent home and my job keeps me from taking her on daily walks and taking her to play or train her more. My days off are the days I take her out and bond with her. Although I never planned on owning a dog because I know right now i cannot handle that responsibility , and did not have any or much knowledge on taking care of a dog or knew much about her needs based on her breed, i have done the best I can by doing my research and learning. From what I've learned, she needs a job. Meaning she should be with someone who has a house with a large amount of space outside for her to roam around and explore, as well as have bones and toys that are strong for her to chew, she also needs someone who can walk her almost daily so she is less likely to develop any hip problems or joint pain, she needs to consume other foods than kibble, like chicken broth, cooked chicken, meat, etc, she needs a lot of love and affection and someone who understands her and her breed and is willing to stand beside her regardless of all the stereotypes and fears that ignorant people have. I know she is marked as an 'aggressive breed' but she is far from that. She is the most loving and sweet bundle of joy that has helped me feel like life has meaning to it. It hurts to have to rehome her as much as I want to make it work out but unfortunately I am struggling to find a place to live that will accept her or won't say no because she is defined to be a restricted breed. Where I currently live, they aren't okay with me having her so it's starting to become a huge issue for me as well were it's either i stay or she does. I have tried non kill shelters but none are accepting her. I would rather stick it out a bit longer and find her a forever home. May God help me find a lovely home for this beautiful creation of his. I pray to find a family or someone with the right intentions who actually cares enough to research her breed and know what they are up against and still choose to love her and have the patience needed. Thank you and please ONLY serious inquiries. Call or Text.
