When people talk about the loyalty of a dog as a human's best friend, they must be talking about me since I am the epitome of that. Sure, I love dogs and playing with them and squeaky toys, but there is nothing on this planet I love more than you, my fellow forever human. And the mountains and road trips are cool, but if you are not there, it's just another ol' place. Where you are is where I want to be and I will spend my whole life reinforcing my commitment to you. I am about a year old but don't know for certain as I was found dumped on the side of the road. Thank gosh for the kind human who patiently came to feed me and allowed me to see that humans are good and loving. I don't harbor any negative feelings towards humans and am eager to love and cuddle with them. That's the same with dogs- I feel positively about them and want to share my love, space, and even toys with them. I am a kind of an aloof fella who just likes to mind my own business and let those who are needing more space to feel most comfortable take their time. I am not pushy and can wait until a dog wants to be friendly with me. If you don't like me, I don't take it personally and I go on my way without much ado. I've shown friendliness to kids, humans, and other dogs and have not been tested with cats, though have shown zero prey drive to my human who is fostering me. I'd be happiest with a fenced yard (must be 6 feet) and the ability to sit outside in the sun at times as that makes me feel happy and soothed. Sleeping next to you in bed is my preference as I won't bother you and I sleep all through the night and have no accidents in the house. I enjoy the car and relax in there until you decide we have reached our destination. I would be a really great partner in camping, hiking, and other adventures you may enjoy. If what I am telling you is what you seek, then please reach out to my foster so you can meet me in person and see that I am really as good as I seem. Also, I have a brother on here (Clanton) if you are looking for two dogs. We are not bonded, but we are best friends. I will be okay with or without him.
