About Freddie

Freddie is a healthy, spayed, 1.5 yr old female hound/ boxer/ American Staffordshire terrier mix urgently in need of a new home. She is a stray that has been lovingly fostered for a year in West Sonoma, but now her human is 8 months pregnant and has relocated to a place that cannot accept dogs. Freddie is responsive to training and would be a great companion and guard dog for someone who lives alone on a rural property. She is comfortable and playful with other dogs after an adjustment period but very protective of her human. She's a quick learner, does not run away from rural homes, and loves to snuggle and is very tender once she has a bond. She would be best with a mature woman who has experience with large breed dogs and plenty of space for this active pup to run. Freddie's current location is in the Bay Area, but her foster mom is ready to bring Freddie anywhere in Sonoma, Napa or Mendocino Counties to relocate her. She has all her shots and will be provided with a large crate, bed, and dog hammock for vehicle use.
