About Tank

Meet Tank. Tank is a 2 or 3 year old pit bull/lab mix. He's rowdy and loves to run so a home with a fenced yard is definitely preferred. He is looking for a new, permanent home because his current owner is no longer able to afford him due to failing health. Tank needs a home where he will be the only animal, as he's extremely aggressive towards ALL other animals. He was worked with, but he is NOT fully leash trained. He is house broken and will only be rehomed to a place where he will be an inside dog with access to go outside. He is not crate trained and will become irritable if placed in one. Tank also LOVES chew toys and, as much as he enjoys running after tennis balls, he has a habit of chewing them. Due to his aggression and high energy level, he is NOT suitable in a home with children. He needs a very firm handler and a trainer is highly recommended! He is very friendly towards adults though he does have a habit of jumping up on you. He's friendly as well, but again, no homes with children or other animals. He is at risk for being euthanized solely because of his current owner's bad health, as he cannot afford to care for Tank anymore.
